A wallpaper for my favorite opensource OS .. ReactOS [link] , called
It aims to produce a compatibility to MS Windows ®. But unfortunately I cannot run the current version on my computer because my graphics card is not accepted.
The logo I made in Inkscape and the background in photoshop CS2®.

I hope they don't implement any of annoying vista features, like user account control, drm, or other #features...ahem# lol

I have seen that they try to implement several accounts .. so that you have to enter at beginning your username and a password. The function to save the settigns after a session crashes on working with the vm qemu or on other machines.

I'm looking forward to ReactOS also - but again as was your reason, it doesn't sound stable enough to use as an everyday (or even once a week) system. Supposedly a lot of the testing is done in vm's, though I haven't tried firing it up inside one.

Perhaps it'll be best to just wait another year or so and check back on it then...

ReactOS is still in Alpha state and I try it on two other machines and on the VM Qemu. Now I send the ROS - team my Debug messages so they can try to fix my problems.

What I really like on the project is the huge community and the idea to replace a expensive Windows with an OS which can run Windows apps and looks like kind of Windows but which is free and can be developed by everybody.
